Hailing from these hills and brought up on the plantation, it was a big step for me when I decided to pursue a master’s degree in New Zealand. Thereafter, I managed a rugby stadium, gaining valuable experience in hospitality and event management.
I came back to India and hit the road with my better half on a quest for the unknown. For 50 days, we traversed India, a tapestry of cultures, landscapes, and experiences. From the towering Himalayas to the sun-kissed beaches of Gujarat, we witnessed the raw beauty and diversity of our nation. It was a journey of self-discovery, but also an understanding of how travel can open up one’s soul.
This, I believe, was where Halli Hithalu was truly conceived as a place for travelers who crave exploration and adventure. Our coffee plantation isn’t just a piece of land; it’s a testament to our passion, a living, breathing entity that we nurture with love and care. Every room, every nook and corner of our homestay in Chikamagaluru has a tiny piece of memorabilia we have collected during our travels, and each tells a story which we hope our guests will enjoy.
